Fortune Fortuna is all about promoting what is happening in our great little town. This newsletter is specifically designed to highlight businesses, entrepreneurs, and events. Providing them with a platform to showcase their products and services to a wide audience.

Fortuna’s Newest Sign Addition

The American Legion Auxiliary Walker Bailey Unit 205 had an unveiling of the newest sign addition to the Fortuna. The group also posted on their Facebook Page that businesses Fortuna wide will have collection boxes for donations towards their group.

Poppy distribution booths will be located at Safeway, Ray’s Food Place, Grocery Outlet, Ace Hardware, Tractor Supply, Smokin’ Barrels, & Hot Brew on Saturday, May 20th from 10am-4pm.

Month long locations will be available at Green’s Pharmacy, Stehl’s Family Shoes, Horizon Business Products, A-1 Radiator, Fortune Veterinary, Cindy’s Styling Center, Double D’s, Beverage Plus, Pepper’s, Hummel Tire, Bob’s Footlong, Pauls’ Live From New York, Sequoia Gas, Main Street Barber, and Hot Brew.

Business Spotlight- Meet Famous Amens

Famous Amens or, known to many as Colt and Mavis. Two people that love to cook and share their love of food with others.

Growing up in Northern California, they have Humboldt and Mendocino County roots that running deep in our community full of friends and family that they've cooked for over the years. But one thing they've found is that a lot of people have a hard time seasoning their foods while cooking even the simplest of meals and when they do, it's a “brand name” product comprised of unhealthy fillers and preservatives. So, they created Famous Amens with the goal of producing hearty flavors that are healthier.

You can find Famous Amens seasoning in Fortuna at multiple locations, including Wildwood Saw Shop, Beverage Plus, Village Mini Storage, and on their website!
